1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GoodTracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

GoodTracker is an AI-powered calorie and macro tracking application that provides nutritional estimates, meal analysis, and wellness coaching. The App uses artificial intelligence (Gemini, Llama, Mistral, and OpenAI models) to generate food analysis and recommendations.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All nutritional analysis, meal suggestions, and coaching feedback are Synthetically Generated Information (SGI). These are probabilistic AI estimates and do not constitute professional medical or dietary advice.

• Calorie and macronutrient counts carry a 10-15% margin of error
• AI coaching is motivational in nature and not a substitute for qualified healthcare professionals
• Always consult a physician before making significant dietary changes

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your profile
• Not rely solely on GoodTracker for medical decisions (e.g., insulin dosing, allergy management)
• Cross-reference AI estimates with official product labels when accuracy is critical
• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Account & Data

You may use GoodTracker as a guest or create an authenticated account. Your data is stored securely via Google Firebase and is governed by our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through App Settings.

6. Third-Party Services

GoodTracker integrates with:

• Google Health Connect: For syncing workout and activity data
• AI Providers: Google Gemini, Groq, Mistral, and OpenAI for food analysis
• Google Play Services: For authentication and app functionality

We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within GoodTracker are the intellectual property of GoodTracker. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without explicit permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

GoodTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to health-related decisions made based on AI-generated estimates.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time through App Settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
